See Inside Your Optical Models with TracePro 2026.3 Early Visibility

Explore complex systems more clearly with the new Section View.

TracePro 2026.3 Early Visibility is now available, introducing Section View: a new way to look inside complex optical models.

When a model contains multiple components, understanding what is happening beneath the surface can take time. Section View creates a cut-away rendered view, helping you inspect internal geometry and navigate the model with greater clarity.

A clearer way to explore your model

Choose the XY, XZ, or YZ sectioning plane, then move the cutting plane through the model to focus on the area you want to examine. Add transparency when you need more context, or select objects directly between Section View and the Model Window to move smoothly between the cut-away view and your full model.

Together, these controls make it easier to inspect and navigate complex systems without losing sight of the larger design.
