Question
I am currently trying OSLO for Linux, but I am experiencing some user interface problems (window control, graphics not being updated, crashing, ...etc.). Are you targeting a specific Linux distribution that will work better than others?
Synopsis
Problems with OSLO Linux
Solution
"OSLO/Linux (both paid and free editions) is currently targeted to work on Red Hat 8.0, SUSE 9.1 and SUSE 9.3. These are the only Linux distributions that we can recommend for OSLO/Linux at this time. We know that OSLO/Linux may experience some difficulties on other Linux distributions, but it is difficult to address these issues without causing problems when OSLO/Linux is run on Red Hat 8.0, SUSE 9.1 and SUSE 9.3. We are in the process of conducting a major effort to port all of the existing OSLO/Linux code to a more portable GUI toolkit. The OSLO release based on this toolkit is tentatively named "OSLO 7". When OSLO 7 is complete, OSLO/Linux should have greater stability on a wider range of Linux distributions. At that time, we will re-evaluate the operation of OSLO/Linux, and decide what Linux distributions we can recommend for OSLO/Linux. We do not have an estimation as to when OSLO 7 will be available, but in the interim, we do plan on continuing the updates of OSLO 6.4.x."
