I have created an Elliptical Reflector in TracePro, and the ray trace results look good. Now, I need a Sag Table to send out to have the Reflector manufactured. How do I get this data?

Obtaining a Sag Table from a Reflector
Solution
You can perform a Grid Raytrace with a collimated line of rays and the reflector oriented with its axis along the z-axis. Then view an Incident Ray Table for the mirror surface of the Reflector. The first 3 columns of the table are the XYZ coordinates of the surface. The Grid Raytrace parameters can be varied to obtain the desired density of points. The Incident Ray Table can then be saved to a text file to be transferred to another document for the Reflector manufacturer.
