the analysis is performed using the first source listed in the list. Why is this working this way?"
Synopsis
Pixelated object analysis only recognizes first *.ima source file in the list
Symptoms
This is an identified problem in the Linux version of OSLO. This has been added to our bug fix database and will be fixed in a future release of OSLO-Linux.
Workaround
- After you perform a Pixelated Object analysis, look at the last command in the Command History list. It will look similar to the following: xsource "3barh.ima" 17.03 0.0 0.0where the name within the quotes is the name of the first *.IMA file presented to the user in the Pixelated Object dialog box. Simple edit the line in the Command Line History so that the file name you want to analyze is in the quotes, such as: xsource "filament.ima" 17.03 0.0 0.0and the press the key.
- Note that when you perform a Pixelated Object analysis, the *.IMA file list that is shown in the dialog comes from the *.IMA files that are listed in the ".../private/bin/ima" directory. This list is in alphabetical order. If you want to perform a Pixelated Object analysis on a particular *.IMA file, simply rename that file so that it comes first in alphabetical order in the ".../private/bin/ima" directory.
Solution
This is a recognized bug in OSLO-Linux 6.3.1. It will be corrected in a future release of OSLO.
