"I am using a Gradium gradient index material (from Lightpath Technologies) in my system. When I use it in a regular way, it works fine. However, when I " invert" it so that I can insert a mirror before it, it doesn't appear to work properly. What is wrong? NOTE: "Invert" is a command in OSLO that reverses a lens so that it is modeled properly after a mirror surface - it is not to be confused with the similar OSLO command, " reverse". "

"The Gradium gradient coordinate system needs to be reversed after being reflected from a mirror. The easiest way to do this is to rotate the Gradium coordinate system 180 degrees about the X-axis. For the appropriate surface, go to the "SPECIAL" column and choose Gradient Index(G)>> Gradium Gradient (Sellmeier) and set ""GTA"" to 180. Or from the command line type GTA X 180. substituting " X" with the appropriate surface number."
Solution
"The 180-degree Gradium coordinate rotation will be added to the " invert" command in a future release of OSLO."
