Analysis on beam footprints and apertures. Beam footprint analysis is a great tool in many cases, including but not limited to: vignetting, aiming rays through a system, surface sampling information, tolerance analysis, show unusual aperture shapes and beams and getting insight for mechanical constraints. The video shows how to use the beam footprint (footprt) and footprint outline (footpro) commands. The video also includes a demo triplet and the Hubble Space Telescope as examples.
