Synopsis
File Not Found error message when opening STEP or IGES file with Chinese or Japanese Windows
Symptoms
When attempting to open the STEP or IGES file, the following message appears in the TracePro Message/Macro Window: *** ERROR *** File not found, check the path or the name of the file
Workaround
1- Our understanding of this problem is that it only occurs when the STEP or IGES file is located directly on the C-drive. If the STEP or IGES file is moved to another directory, TracePro can open the file successfully. 2- This has not been confirmed in all cases, but we believe that the problem may only occur when running TracePro with a Hardware Key. If TracePro is run from a Network License, the problem may not occur.
Solution
We hope to have a permanent resolution to this problem in a future release of TracePro.
