I noticed on the Mathworks site, that OSLO can be used with MATLAB. Would you be able to send me some information regarding OSLO itself and how it can be used with MATLAB?
Synopsis
Data exchange between OSLO and MATLAB
"The following Knowledge Base item will give you a nice overview about how you can use OSLO to perform data exchange with other MS Windows and Linux programs: Information about data exchange formats for OSLO. One of our customers (AURA) uses data exchange between OSLO and Matlab to study preliminary models of the Thirty Meter Telescope project. One of their published papers gives a nice overview of the modeling approach: Computationally efficient performance simulations for a Thirty Meter Telescope (TMT) point design.
MATLAB Script Example:
George Z. Angeli, from the New Initiatives Office at AURA Inc., has graciously supplied sample files that demonstrate how OSLO and Matlab can perform data exchange using Dynamic Data Exchange (DDE). The Winzip file that you can download below, contains a sample OSLO file (developed by Brooke Gregory) and a sample Matlab script (developed by George Angeli). The optical prescription file is a simplified version of the Gemini telescope. You can review the script file with any word processor (Notepad, MS Word, etc.). It has comments explaining the code. The Matlab script is tested for operation, but not for robustness.
Please see DDE_Matlab_to_OSLO_Example.zip on the OSLO Examples webpage.
Advanced data exchange between OSLO and other programs is only available in OSLO Premium"
