Did you know all versions of TracePro allow users to add new properties to the TracePro property database at any time?
TracePro includes a large database of properties such as Material, Surface, and Surface Source Properties. The TracePro Standard and Expert editions also include additional property types such as Bulk Scatter, Fluorescence, and RepTile. The property types available will depend on the edition of TracePro being used.
TracePro gives the user the ability to add new or custom properties if they need these properties for their applications. Adding new properties to TracePro is easy and intuitive. Many of the property types have Property Editors where users can enter data relevant to the property they are adding, such as Index of Refraction and Bulk Absorption for Material Properties, or Absorption, Specular Reflection, Specular Transmission, Scattered Reflection, and Scattered Transmission for Surface Properties. Many of these parameters can vary as a function of temperature, wavelength, and incident angle. Temperature variation is available in TracePro Standard and Expert.
In addition to the Property Editors, the Surface Property, Surface Source Property, and Fluorescence Property have graphical tools that allow you to use data and graphs from product datasheets to quickly and easily make new properties to add to the TracePro Property Database.
TracePro Custom Properties allow users to quickly and easily add new properties to their TracePro Property Database, giving them the ability to expand the property options available when they need to.
