TracePro Winter Training – February 5 – 7th, 2020 – Cologne, Germany

This three-day course, with three separate sessions, provides detailed introductory and advanced uses of TracePro for engineers and scientists who wish to model and analyze the interaction of light with optomechanical systems.

Introduction to TracePro

This class is an excellent introduction to TracePro. If you are new to TracePro or if you are an experienced TracePro user, you will certainly find this course informative and helpful. We will start at the beginning by building models in TracePro, importing CAD models, applying properties, defining light sources, running raytraces, and analyzing the results. We will cover many of the features in TracePro. Numerous examples will be used in this class, including luminaires, lenses, light guides, and displays. At the end of this class attendees will have a good working knowledge of TracePro that they can take back to their workplace.

 

Venue and Amenities

Each trainee will be provided with their own PC. Classes will be held from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm each day. Training will be held at the University of Cologne, Germany. Directions will be provided on request. Tuition includes all materials, individual use of a computer, and lunch. Tuition must be paid in full prior to attendance.
