Lambda Research Corporation to Show SPIE Photonics West 2014

Littleton, MA, USA – January 9, 2013 – Lambda Research Corporation, the leading designer and manufacturer of illumination and optical design software, announces its participation in the SPIE Photonics West Trade Show & Conference, Booth #801, at The Moscone Center from February 4 – 6, 2014 in San Francisco, CA. In addition, the company will be offering live demonstrations of TracePro®, their flagship product. Design engineers attending the show are encouraged to bring their latest projects and experience a real-time demo using their designs.

TracePro offers the most powerful and sophisticated optical design software available which streamlines the prototype to manufacturing process by combining an intuitive 3D CAD interface, advanced utilities, and seamless interoperability with other mechanical design programs.

The latest release, TracePro v7.4, includes new features, such as improved photorealistic rendering using photon mapping to depict scenes, sources, light pipes, and instrument panels, as well as a new solar tracking capability in the solar emulator with uniaxial and sun aiming tracking options. TracePro’s unique rendering process is especially effective where multiple bounces occur in light pipes, lenses, and standard optical components, and for LED source color rendition. Trusted by design engineers around the world, TracePro is the ideal tool for all types of optical and illumination applications with the shortest learning curve in the industry.
